Biblical Mysteries

Mysteries are God’s secrets. It is to the glory of God to conceal a matter. And while he does not wish to keep these secrets to himself he also does not want them falling into enemy hands. He wants to share them with those who share his heart. So he hides them and empowers only those who are earnest about his kingdom and his righteous ways to discover them. These select people he refers to as kings. Kings are few and rare. And from this metaphor we can conclude that despite the lure for adventure most will prefer the life of ease and drift. Discovery and adventure and expansion of territory are quests for kings. If you desire growth, expansion, and increase in the knowledge of God then this quest is for you.
