Handwriting on the Wall: A Devotional Study on Daniel: Chapters 1-6
Is it possible to maintain steadfast faith in God while living in pagan surroundings? Can I get ahead in secular society if I remain resolute in my beliefs? Can I become the CEO of a non-Christian organization by holding on unwavering to my faith? Does prayer really make a difference? Do good guys really finish last?
The exploits of the prophet Daniel and his Hebrew companions living in captivity in Babylon answer these questions in a positive and encouraging manner. This is the sum and substance of the first six chapters of the book of Daniel.
This volume is a devotional based on Part 1 and it seeks to build our faith and bring us to the spiritual status of men and women who like Daniel are ‘beloved of God.’ He honors faith and as he delivered Daniel from his various trials and traps he will deliver us from the fiery darts of the enemy. My prayer is that these messages on the life of Daniel and his contemporaries will inspire and challenge us to be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might regardless where life might take us.
