Very few believers can speak with conviction about their individual purpose, and that even after many years of professing faith in Jesus Christ. Most have simply accepted their local church agenda as their prime mission and goal in life. But on the brighter side, with time and experience, I have also learnt that even if we do not know God’s specific will for us as individuals, we are still duty bound to observe certain rules of behavior and ministry that apply globally to the body of faith, and that if we make it our responsibility to diligently observe those duties and obligations, we will eventually get closer to discovering our unique purpose and calling. In other words, walking in God’s general revelation will lead us to his specific will for our lives.
In this book, I aim to highlight some of those moral and spiritual obligations that belong to every one of us who name the name of Jesus, with the hope that in doing these small things, we will eventually discover our unique gifts and calling in Christ.
