Sealed With Love
In a world full of hate, violence, natural disasters, disease and untold suffering, the thought of there being a God and that he is a loving person seems hard to imagine much less accept, especially by those who are continually on the receiving end of bad things. Yet, the central message of the Bible and the story of salvation is that there is a God who made us and who loves us.
Indeed, most of the world’s religious communities will frown on the thought that God wants to have us as his friends, yet such is the explosive revelation that Jesus brought to us. God loves us. He knows us by name, keeps track of the number of hairs on our head, and values our soul more than his universe. In Jesus we see God and in his love we obtain proof that God loves us to the extent where is he willing to give his life for ours. May these messages make us willing to do likewise.
