Cool Shade: Tales from the Diaspora, Volume 1

Cool Shade is a collection of short stories that were published monthly on the Guyana Journal between the years 2003 – 2004. The stories are largely based on the author’s life and experiences in Guyana and North America. Stories such as Ode to Love, A Slap in the Dark and Ramu Comes Home for Christmas were received with much praise and several encouraging responses. It is from those readers’ responses and suggestions that the author has decided to compile these stories in several volumes.
