No Greater Name, No Higher Purpose

No Higher Name, No Greater Purpose is a collection of sermons preached at Calvary Worship Centre in Mississauga, Ontario during the year 2009. Many of these sermons have been built and reworked over thirty years of pulpit ministry and in that sense are a long time in the making.

The author sincerely believes that there is no greater name given under heaven among men whereby we must be saved other than the name of Jesus and in the sermons on the various titles given to Jesus by the biblical writers he attempts to show us why he holds to that conviction.

It is the intent of these sermons therefore to show that there is no greater purpose in life than to love God and serve him with all our hearts and that there is no other means of entering into such a relationship than through the atoning work of Jesus Christ.
