Timeless Parables

Jesus loved the medium of storytelling to convey vital truths. His stories always employed imagery, customs, manners and vernacular with which his hearers were very much acquainted and so it was easy for them to relate to and to remember.

Parables are also versatile in that they allow each generation to adapt the truth principles in the story to their history, culture and environment. So when Jesus shared a parable we can be sure it conveyed truth that is both timeless and important to our happiness and well-being.

The author feels that these select parables contain priceless gems, that if excavated and made a part of our spiritual attire, will strengthen our faith and increase our effectiveness as Christian witnesses by adding to it the virtues of grace, love, wisdom, and knowledge.
